IDEA DESIGN AWARD는
미국의 산업디자인협회(IDSA)에서 주관하는 세계 3대 디자인 (Reddot, iF, IDEA)공모전 입니다.
아래는 IDSA홈페이지에 나와있는 심사과정설명 입니다.
The IDEA judging process is composed of two main rounds of judging. In Round One, judges review every entry submission and narrow the field by selecting exemplary projects to continue on in the competition. Round Two judging takes place in person at the Henry Ford Museum in Dearborn, MI. It is here where judges can see and touch products first hand and make their final selections in awarding IDEA trophies.
(IDEA 심사 과정은 두 가지 주요 심사 과정으로 구성됩니다. 라운드 1에서는 심사 위원이 모든 제출 제출물을 검토하고 경쟁에서 계속 진행할 모범적 인 프로젝트를 선택하여 현장을 좁 힙니다. 2 라운드 심사는 미시간 주 디어 본 (Dearborn)에있는 헨리 포드 박물관 (Henry Ford Museum)에서 직접 실시됩니다. 심사위 원단이 직접 제품을보고 만져서 IDEA 트로피를 수여하여 최종 선택을 할 수있는 곳입니다.)
If you are asked to move on to the second round of judging you will be asked to pay a finalist fee and provide an example product for evaluation.
(2 차 심사로 넘어 가려면 최종 요금을 지불하고 평가를위한 예제 제품을 제공해야합니다.)
Please note: If you are a non-member student, you will be asked to pay the non-member rate, however, if you join IDSA as a student member you will save over $400. IDSA members are given preferential pricing for all aspects of IDEA entry. If you aren't a member yet, consider joining before you enter IDEA. See Rules & Regulations for complete details.

*작년엔 학생 비회원이 있었으나, 학생 비회원 가격이 사라졌습니다.
학생회원으로 IDSA에 가입을 유도하려고 하는것 같은데 가격도 전체적으로 오르고 ... 디자인공모전이 상술로 보이네요..
라운드1에서 통과하신분들에 한해 라운드2로 넘어갈 수 있는데요 라운드2는 아래와 같습니다.
